It's hard to believe we are a year into hygienists being able to administer local anesthesia.

Both dentists and hygienists are invited to an evening of learning. Many of us give good injections, this class is to learn how to give great injections.

After a quick review of anatomy, we will cover the best techniques for difficult patients. We will cover the variety of anesthetics on the market. Which is best for our pregnant patients or our medically compromised patients? What is buffering and what options are available? Finally, we will cover what topicals are available when local anesthetics may not be required
